Download Help
Every Covertora tool creates files on your device β here's how to make sure they land safely.
1. The download didn't start
- Check the address bar. Chrome and Edge sometimes show a small blocked-download icon at the right end of the address bar β click it and choose "Always allow downloads from covertora.com".
- Allow pop-ups. Some tools open the file in a new tab first. Allow pop-ups for covertora.com in your browser's site settings.
- Try again. After changing a setting, click the tool's download button again β your work is still there; nothing was lost.
2. Finding the downloaded file
- Windows: your Downloads folder, or press Ctrl+J in the browser to see recent downloads.
- Mac: the Downloads stack in the Dock, or Cmd+Option+L in most browsers.
- Covertora files have clear names like merged.pdf, invoice.pdf or covertora-qr.png.
3. iPhone & Android
- iPhone/iPad (Safari): after tapping download, tap the β icon next to the address bar, or find the file later in the Files app β Downloads.
- Android (Chrome): a "file downloaded" notification appears; files are saved in the Files/Downloads app.
- If a PDF opens in the browser instead of downloading, use the browser's share/save button to store it.
4. The file opens but looks wrong
- Make sure the original file isn't corrupted β try opening it locally first (or run it through our PDF Repair tool).
- Very large or unusual PDFs (scanned books, exotic encodings) can exceed what a browser can process β try splitting the job into smaller parts.
- Still off? We want to know: support@covertora.com.
5. Still stuck?
Email support@covertora.com with your browser, device and the tool you used β or tap the WhatsApp bubble for a quick chat. Because your files never reach our servers, we may ask for a screenshot to see what you see.
